Customer Service Representative
About The Position
Circle K is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Baton Rouge, Louisiana store. The role suits someone who wants a challenging position in a fast-paced environment and opportunities to grow. Representatives greet customers, operate the register, make purchase suggestions, and may assist with the food program. They work in different areas inside and outside the store to maintain store appearance standards and provide fast, friendly service. The job involves interacting with customers and working with a team to complete daily tasks. Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required.
Requirements
- Provide excellent customer care and communicate through friendly conversation.
- Perform at a quick pace while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Work as part of a team to accomplish daily goals.
- Think quickly, offer suggestions, and come up with ideas to solve problems.
- Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift.
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
- Push or pull with the arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
- Bend at the waist, with some twisting, for up to one hour per shift.
- Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination; may need to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place and remove signs.
