Customer Service Representative
About The Position
Customer Service Representatives assist potential borrowers and current customers with questions about loan products, evaluate vehicles, manage loans and payments, and communicate regularly with customers about their accounts. They make courtesy calls when needed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The role is described as central to delivering honest, respectful customer service. This is a full-time, in-store position at LoanStar Title Loans in Corpus Christi, Texas. Store hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM; employees do not work Sundays. Pay is $14.50–$15.50 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and performance. Bonus opportunities may be available where applicable but are not guaranteed.
Requirements
- Able to work the listed full-time schedule, including rotating Saturdays.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Able to pass a company background screening, which may include criminal, credit, and employment verification, consistent with applicable state and federal laws.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual ability preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Computer and data entry experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone.
- Explain loan products, terms, and payment options clearly and professionally.
- Evaluate vehicles and process loan applications.
- Manage customer accounts and process payments.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Make courtesy reminder calls as needed.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
