About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, serves over one million members across more than 200 clubs and aims to provide an affordable, Judgment Free fitness experience. The Customer Service Representative provides a superior level of service to members, prospective members, and guests, helping create an exceptional member experience. This is a part-time role at the Springfield Liberty club in Springfield, Massachusetts. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with hourly increases at six months and after the first year based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shifts.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shifts.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during shifts.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
