About The Position
Sun Loan is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide friendly, professional service to customers throughout the loan process. This role involves processing loan applications, verifying documentation, explaining loan terms, and assisting customers with payments and account management. You will also be responsible for making collection calls, developing customer relationships through sales and referrals, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with company, state, and federal requirements. Additionally, you will support branch operations and assist the Branch Manager as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ year of customer service experience preferred
- Collections experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Positive attitude, integrity, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Comfortable with customer interactions, sales, and problem-solving
- Organized and detail-oriented with basic math skills
- High school diploma/GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers throughout the loan process
- Process loan applications and verify required documentation
- Explain loan terms, payment options, and account requirements
- Contact customers regarding payments and help identify solutions for past-due accounts
- Process payments, extensions, modifications, and account updates accurately
- Make collection calls and work with customers to bring accounts current
- Develop new and existing customer relationships through sales and referrals
- Maintain accurate records while following company, state, and federal requirements
- Support branch operations and assist the Branch Manager as needed
