Requirements

• Must be a people-person and a pet-person.
• Solid communication skills (phone, in-person, email).
• Experience with multi-line phones and computer systems.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain professionalism.
• Problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in customer service or retail.
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their pets.
• Answer phones and multitask effectively.
• Tour new clients through the facility and promote services.
• Ensure up-to-date vaccinations are on file.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Handle cash and card transactions and balance the end-of-day cash drawer.
• Respond to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pet guests to and from their enclosures.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby area.
• Support other team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
