Under close supervision, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing incoming customer calls. This role involves responding to customer inquiries, providing quotes, handling order entry, and influencing gross profit through price negotiation. The representative will build customer relationships to drive repeat business and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained. They will also be responsible for sourcing products, determining cost-effective shipping methods, and partnering with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction. Expediting backorders and potentially pulling inventory for shipment are also key functions. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and zero to three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
