About The Position
Monte Package Company (a Bunzl company) is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Riverside, MI. This position plays a critical role in supporting our customers, coordinating daily office activities, and ensuring orders and customer requests are handled accurately and efficiently. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers, and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is exceptionally reliable and takes pride in being a trusted member of the team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Professional, confident, and personable demeanor
- Resourceful problem solver who remains calm under pressure
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working in distribution, packaging, industrial products, or a related industry.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a significant plus
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in person
- Process customer orders, inquiries, and requests accurately and efficiently
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain customer records and documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
- Support general office operations and administrative functions
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members
- Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as needed
