About The Position

Customer Service Representatives support PruittHealth Medical Supply by performing tasks and handling communications related to orders, invoices, credits, and product services. The role involves responding to customer questions about products, pricing, and order status; staying current on product and pricing changes; and coordinating special orders with vendors, including follow-up, shipment tracking, and confirming timely delivery to facilities. Representatives also address back-order reports, shortages, and damaged-item claims in coordination with inventory control.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 3–5 years of work experience in customer service or a call center environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to respond productively to change and handle additional projects as assigned.
• Ability to answer customer questions about products, pricing, and order status.
• Knowledge of special orders and processing, including vendor orders, follow-up, shipment tracking, and delivery verification.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
• PeopleSoft experience.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of experience in the medical supply field.
• 3 or more years of experience in the long-term care industry.

Responsibilities

• Support and perform tasks and communication related to processing orders, invoices, credits, and product services.
• Respond to customer questions concerning products, pricing, and order status.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, offerings, product changes, pricing, items, and processing.
• Place special orders with vendors, follow up, track shipments, and verify facilities receive products in a timely manner.
• Respond to facility concerns regarding back-order reports, shortages, and damaged-item claims.
• Work closely with inventory control.
• Work with vendors and customers in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Prioritize and complete tasks, respond productively to change, and handle additional projects as assigned.
