About The Position
U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals for the Customer Service Representative position. In this role, you will be the face of U-Haul's exceptional service, assisting customers with their needs and ensuring they have the help they require for their journeys. This involves inspecting and maintaining equipment, using technology to dispatch and return equipment, and providing on-the-job education. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be legally authorized to work and must not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
- Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
- Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
- Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
- Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
- Install towing and trailer wiring.
- Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing and trailer wiring packages.
- Recommend and install the right tow and trailer wiring packages on customer vehicles.
- Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
- Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
- Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
