About The Position

Summit Racing Equipment is seeking performance-driven individuals with a genuine desire to provide the best customer service experience. This remote position offers a positive, productive atmosphere and a people-first approach to business. The role involves handling inbound customer calls regarding shipping, returns, warranties, damaged or missing parts, refunds, and package tracking, utilizing company-provided equipment and a desktop application. Candidates must reside in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Tennessee, or Texas. The pay starts at a base rate of $15.75 with the potential to earn up to $18.25 based on automotive knowledge/education. The role requires regular full-time hours with specific training and overtime expectations during peak times.

Requirements

  • High speed cable Internet (25mb plan minimum, no DSL).
  • Proficiency with Windows-based desktop computer systems.
  • Proficiency in the use and navigation of the Internet.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Proficient with Computers and other desktop applications.
  • Automotive knowledge, at least 2 years’ experience in the automotive field preferred.
  • Candidate must reside in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Tennessee or Texas.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE Certifications preferred.
  • Possess or have a sincere desire to learn some minor technical details about vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service utilizing our desktop application, Talkdesk.
  • Handle inbound calls consisting of shipping, returns, warranties, damaged or missing parts, refunds, and package tracking.
  • Answer calls in an upbeat, professional manner with customer satisfaction as the number one objective.
  • Recognize customer needs and troubleshoot any issues using all tools at their disposal.
  • Multitask, coordinate, and manage time effectively while maintaining professionalism with customers and co-workers.
  • Follow instructions and respond to leadership direction.
  • Meet previously determined department standards.
  • Strive to increase both personal and team production.
