About The Position

Norco, Inc. is seeking an individual to fill the Industrial Store Customer Service Representative position. This role is responsible for serving walk-in and phone-in customers. The representative will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price, and use, and will sell welding and safety products and services. Key duties include processing customer orders accurately, researching products for special applications, following up on orders, and maintaining sales literature.

Requirements

Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to accurately enter data into computers and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position

Industrial product knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
Answer telephone calls promptly
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
Research products needed for customer special applications
Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
Keep sales literature current and organized
Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
