About The Position

Come join our Customer Service Team! If you are passionate about customer service and enjoy working with industrial and manufacturing companies to meet their technical product needs, we are the place for you! This is an in-office position and is considered non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience preferably in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong mechanical and sales aptitude
  • Adaptable to change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems

Nice To Haves

  • Business and/or technical degree preferred.
  • Experience working with OEM (original equipment manufacturers) customers highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming orders promptly and manage orders, as needed, through production, shipping, and invoicing.
  • Provide proactive status updates to customers regarding order changes or delays.
  • Provide timely and efficient assistance to customers in resolving problems after shipment; including tracking shipments and deliveries, invoice disputes, and product returns.
  • Provide basic technical product information to customers for all Nott products.
  • Manage communication with customers in a clear and timely manner through email, phone, and other channels.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations for house account customers.
  • Support outside sales representatives with the quotation process for standard products, as requested.
  • Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
