About The Position

RJ Schinner, a growing, family-owned wholesale redistributor with over 75 years of success, is seeking a Customer Service Representative I. With 21 distribution centers throughout the US and over 600 employees, RJ Schinner provides disposable paper, cleaning, and food service packaging products to distributors in 48 states. Headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI, RJ Schinner was started in 1951 and has been recognized for its growth. The Customer Service Rep I ensures customer satisfaction by answering product and delivery questions, suggesting information about other products, processing orders, preparing correspondence, tracking customer orders, and resolving delivery issues. This is a full-time position with set hours Monday-Friday.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of effective customer support experience
• Strong phone skills
• Dynamic active listening skills
• Impasioned customer satisfaction focus
• Solid ability to effectively adapt and respond to different types of situations
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
• High level of attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Customer support experience in a wholesale redistribution environment
• Familiarity with Eclipse (AS400)/Solar (Window based) system

Responsibilities

• Builds sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
• Meets call handling and order entry quotas
• Handles complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
• Keeps records and track the pricing for customers
• Communicates with Warehouse Managers on late, large and/or add on of orders
• Works closely with other Customer Service Reps to encourage a teamwork environment
• Expedites Reports (back orders/open orders)
