Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to attend a required, paid ~3-week in-person training at our Erie, PA office before transitioning to remote work
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace (for the remote portion)

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service, call center, healthcare, or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

Professionally answer inbound calls from patients, family members, and provider offices
Make outbound calls to welcome new patients and assist with scheduling or rescheduling appointments
Listen carefully to understand each caller's needs and provide accurate, clear information
Adjust your tone and approach to fit the caller — professional and precise with provider offices, warm and empathetic with patients and families
Partner with internal teams to help resolve scheduling, benefits, and account questions
Accurately document every interaction while maintaining strict confidentiality
Use good judgment to resolve issues, knowing when to bring in a colleague for more complex situations
