About The Position

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you’ll support business customer accounts by handling a high volume of inbound calls, emails, and order inquiries. You’ll work closely with a team of 6–8 peers to resolve order, product, pricing, billing, and delivery issues quickly and accurately. This role acts as a key customer support liaison between sales, warehouse operations, billing, and customers—ensuring a smooth order experience from start to finish.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of customer service, call center, or account support experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions to resolve customer inquiries and escalate when appropriate.
  • Experience with order entry, order processing, or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and written).
  • Ability to manage high call volume and competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel & CoPilot).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a willingness to cross-train and support others.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AS400 or similar ERP/order management system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle 50–100+ daily customer interactions (inbound calls, email, EDI, and fax).
  • Process and manage high-volume customer orders with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Investigate and resolve order issues, billing discrepancies, and delivery concerns.
  • Act as a point of contact between customers, sales, warehouse, and billing teams.
  • Expedite orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through high-quality customer service.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and meet customer needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, systems, and company processes.
  • Support additional customer service and administrative tasks as needed.
