About The Position

The Customer Service Representative 1 provides customers with order status and information support, enters customer purchase and parts orders into company systems, and communicates order details with customers in collaboration with Sales Engineers. The role also represents customer needs to internal departments and represents the company to customers. Additional duties include generating service quotes from reports, following up with customers for purchase orders, converting quotes to orders, and preparing credit paperwork for review and approval. The representative assists the Sales Manager and performs other assigned tasks.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers and various levels of management.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience in the electronics industry.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with order status and information support.
Enter customer purchase orders into the accounting and scheduling system.
Represent customer needs to other internal departments.
Represent the company to customers.
Work with Sales Engineers to communicate all aspects of customer orders to customers.
Assist the Sales Manager with duties and perform other tasks as assigned.
Enter parts orders and confirm them with customers.
Generate quotes in the business system from Service Reports.
Follow up with customers to obtain purchase orders for service quotes.
Convert quotes to orders.
Prepare credit paperwork for review and approval.
