About The Position

The Customer Service Rep receives and processes customer orders by phone and in person, prepares products, and performs general store duties. The role includes operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning the equipment and facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers potential advancement from customer service to management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching and hand use.

Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers in person.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage or shelves.
• Perform other store tasks, including taking out trash and occasional maintenance or sign-related tasks.
