About The Position
The Customer Service Rep works as part of a Domino’s Pizza store team, helping prepare and process pizza orders and providing customer service in person and over the phone. The role may be part-time or full-time, with schedules intended to accommodate team members’ other commitments. On-the-job orientation and training are provided, and the position can offer opportunities for advancement into management and other roles.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old for in-store work; delivery work requires being at least 18 years old.
- Understand and provide correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Coordinate eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Be able to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Meet the physical demands of standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
- Be able to lift and stack deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
Responsibilities
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and over the phone to process orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Unload and store bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
- Perform other store tasks, including removing trash and occasional maintenance-related tasks.
