About The Position

The Customer Service Rep works as part of a Domino’s store team to prepare and serve pizzas and process customer orders. The position may be part-time or full-time and offers schedules intended to work around employees’ other commitments. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role may provide opportunities for advancement from customer service to management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Coordinate eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Meet the physical demands described, including standing for most tasks; walking short distances; lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds; carrying supplies; pushing or pulling trays on dollies; and occasional climbing, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders, and communicate with customers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload deliveries using a hand truck and stock cases on shelves.
• Perform other store-team tasks, including handling trays and supplies, cleaning, and occasional maintenance or sign-price changes.
