About The Position

The Customer Service Rep takes and processes customer orders by telephone and in person, prepares products, and helps carry out general store operations. The role includes operating store equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Schedules may accommodate part-time or full-time work, and the company describes opportunities for advancement into management and other roles.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands and arms.

Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers in person.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload deliveries and move, carry, and stock ingredients and supplies.
• Perform other store tasks such as taking out trash, maintaining the facility, and changing prices on signs.
