About The Position
The Customer Service Rep takes customer orders by phone and in person, providing positive, accurate, and timely service. The role uses suggestive selling, answers customer questions, confirms orders, and communicates estimated delivery times. The employee also supports store production and cleanliness by stocking supplies and assisting with pizza preparation and other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders in a positive manner and answer questions.
- Use suggestive selling techniques with every call.
- Answer the phone on the first ring and avoid placing customers on hold.
- Complete orders promptly and accurately, keeping them neat.
- Keep the phone and customer area clean.
- Repeat each order back to the customer and communicate the approximate delivery time.
- Thank every customer and tell them the time of the order.
- Provide the same customer service to carry-out customers.
- Assist with making pizzas whenever possible; stock the makeline, soda coolers, and supplies needed for production.
- Take payments from carry-out customers when requested by the manager in charge.
- Maintain the image standards set by the company.
- Assist the safe delivery specialist with store cleanliness and maintenance.
- Assist with folding boxes and boxing topped pizzas when asked.
