About The Position

The person in this position would work with internal and external customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products, orders, and services as well as resolve complaints. Excellent communication abilities are a must. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction while entering orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience with a manufacturing or distribution company in a materials environment.
  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service type/related role.

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory or production control experience preferred.
  • Some background in an MRP/ERP system.
  • Intermediate Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works with internal and external customers to provide service to high-profile customers.
  • Responds promptly to customer inquiries while providing professional customer support.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Processes parts orders and parts returns requested by internal and external customers.
  • Works with scheduling team to ensure all hot requests are prioritized and managed accordingly.
  • Must be able to be efficient and accurate when processing orders.
  • Works with other teams to trouble shoot order issues.
  • Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
  • Communicates and coordinates with colleagues as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
