About The Position

Manage customer accounts and the lifecycle of customer orders by answering product and service inquiries, providing timely and accurate quotes, resolving issues, and maintaining complete and up-to-date sales orders within the ERP system. This role will collaborate with outside sales, engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to ensure both customer needs and internal requirements are met. Multi-tasking, problem solving, and communication skills are essential for succeeding. Must be quality focused.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of customer service techniques in an industrial setting
  • Familiar with order entry software and processes
  • Competent-Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Resourceful and problem solver
  • Detail-oriented
  • Multi-tasker

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process quotes and orders in ERP system (Business Central) – ensure documentation is uploaded and all customer information is entered correctly
  • Answer customer calls and emails
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues such as shortages or items damaged in transit
  • Liaison with engineering for technical information, supply chain and plants for lead times and delivery updates, and finance team for invoice issues
  • Work with other inside/outside sales team members
  • Generate reports as needed
