About The Position

Under the supervision of the Location Manager, this position supports the customer service department and is responsible for accounts receivable, and basic administrative support in all areas of sales and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
  • Requires accounting and clerical skills.
  • Requires good reading, writing and mathematical skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate 10-key adding machine, copier, facsimile machine and any other office equipment required to perform duties.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Contact customers to schedule deliveries and obtain load lists.
  • Coordinates partial orders with sales representatives and/or customers.
  • Maintain a 3-day delivery schedule on the delivery board.
  • Inform finished goods delivery drivers of the delivery schedule and dispatch those drivers in a courteous manner.
  • Responsible for credit card and cash payments for cash sales, along with creating deposit accounts.
  • Provide accurate maps and directions for deliveries to drivers.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs.
  • Monitor e-logs and communicate with drivers to determine if a customer delivery needs to be pushed out or rescheduled.
  • Process EDI orders for Lowes and Home Depot.
  • Schedule Lowe’s deliveries through the Lowe’s gateway as needed.
  • Schedule and obtain proper documentation for Lowes and Home Depot deliveries.
  • Contact customers and/or Sales Rep. with delivery updates and or scheduled adjustments as needed.
  • Answers phones in a courteous and friendly manner and refers calls to appropriate party when necessary.
  • Process sales orders and change orders received from customers, set up sales order, terms, payer data in SAP for initial order.
  • Enter sales orders and change orders into SAP and distribute to appropriate departments.
  • Changes delivery notes to reflect loading changes and inventory shortages.
  • Assist in managing location pricing structure with sales team in SAP.
  • Process credits for customers (i.e. pallet and material credits) as needed.
  • Assist yard staff and stucco machine operator as needed with mixing, receivers, material location, loading, unloading of trucks/customers or other as assigned.
  • Develop working knowledge of all products and established procedures.
  • Assist retail and other customers with product selection as needed.
  • Provide marketing support for samples, catalogs and information requests by Sales Reps and Inside Sales Coordinator.
  • Work with Sales Team to coordinate customer requests and to help provide superior customer service.
  • Become knowledgeable of all products and apply best practices for installation.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.
