About The Position

TCC Materials is a leading manufacturer of architectural and concrete specialty products, including concrete masonry block, concrete repair products, precast, architectural stone, mortars and grout, and hardscape landscaping products. This position interfaces with customers, suppliers, sales, and plant personnel daily to facilitate an efficient, timely, and accurate order-fulfillment process and promote customer satisfaction. This role performs daily customer service and dispatch functions for the facilities, including shipping, inventory control, and inter-company transfers. It also involves daily data entry into NetSuite for production and order processing transactions, receiving and entering orders for products, and coordinating all dispatch/transportation scheduling functions.

Requirements

Solid working knowledge of PC environment including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Fast and accurate data entry skills
Dispatching and customer service experience in the construction materials industry preferred
Ability to understand and carry out written or oral instructions
Analytical ability and problem-solving skills
Average math skills with working knowledge of percentages
Ability to handle multiple tasks in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
Establish and maintain an efficient dispatch schedule for deliveries.
Call contract haulers and make delivery assignments as needed.
Dispatch deliveries for optimum customer service levels.
Generate pick tickets, delivery tickets, and maintain a silo tracking program.
Enter all orders, daily transfers, materials received, and inventory counts into NetSuite on a timely and accurate basis.
Reconcile inventory counts as needed.
Maintain information in NetSuite to produce accurate reporting.
Communicate with Corporate Office to make sure changes being made at the plant level will not negatively affect reporting accuracies.
Scan completed and signed delivery tickets into OnBase.
Sort and match pick tickets and delivery tickets daily, including tracking contract carrier tickets, and file.
Provide customer service and support.
Assist customers with questions concerning shipments and status of orders.
Take phone and email orders for products.
Coordinate with corporate departments (Human Resources, IT, Accounting, etc.) for submit all of forms to insure all records are accurately submitted.
Work with sales personnel to maximize on-time deliveries and exceed customer expectations.
Order, receive, and maintain office and safety supplies.
Monitor and order/assist in ordering raw, related, resale, and miscellaneous materials.
Maintain and enter data in the MPL Shared Drive for the dryer report & sieve analysis.
Coordinate with Corporate Office to authorize the paying of bills to include matching invoices to BOL’s, verifying contract freight bills, generate purchase orders (POs) for all invoices, forward all information to A/P and maintain copies.
Other duties as assigned by the Region Manager and/or Corporate Management Team.
