We are currently hiring a WIC Customer Service Representative who will be the first point of contact for clients seeking WIC Program Services. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience for every WIC Client and their families. The annual salary for this position is $38,000 with access to a generous benefits package including health, vision, dental plus so much more! This position also is a career ladder eligible position so you have the ability to earn more as you grow with us!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the WIC program.
  • Previous experience working with SNAP, Medicaid, or other public assistance programs.
  • 3 or more years working in an administrative role with scheduling, clerical work, and data entry.
  • 3 or more years working Customer service in a healthcare, social services, or government setting.
  • 2 or more years proficient experience using Microsoft products.
  • Experience using GRITS, GA WIC, and/or GA Gateway.
  • Bi-Lingual – English & Spanish preferred.
  • Experience interviewing & assessing eligibility of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct clients with a warm and helpful attitude
  • Provide high-level customer service, answering questions both in person and over the phone
  • Process information, update client profiles, and complete data collection and entry into Georgia Gateway & GA-WIC.
  • Educates participants on WIC rights and responsibilities, nutrition education, and use of benefits
  • Conducts interviews and determines if WIC applicants meet the eligibility criteria within the Georgia WIC program.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and administrative documents
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and supportive clinic environment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused setting
