About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating activities with customers, sales representatives, administration and production to satisfy our customers’ requirements. This individual will also answer telephone inquiries, respond to order inquires, general customer inquiries, customer complaints and process Customer orders with accuracy meeting or exceeding department goals.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be fluent in English with the ability to speak, read, and write at a professional level.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Customer Service or a related field.
• Ability to operate word-processing software, spreadsheets, and database programs.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the position.
• Must be available to work overtime with minimal notice.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities with customers, sales representatives, administration, and production to meet customer requirements, including measuring/sizing customers, entering orders, supporting distributors and sales reps, and maintaining call logs.
• Provides administrative support to the Sales Department as needed.
• Answers incoming calls and responds to order inquiries, general customer questions, and customer complaints.
• Assists sales representatives with order-status updates, expediting urgent orders, and troubleshooting information.
• Communicates directly with customers regarding purchase order status, ship dates, and other order details.
• Manages and resolves customer complaints and service issues professionally.
• Facilitates special and rush order requests from sales reps and direct customers; coordinates these orders with production.
• Completes and verifies all customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
