About The Position

The Customer Service & Order Entry Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for customers while accurately processing orders and ensuring exceptional service. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

2+ years of customer service, order entry, administrative support, or inside sales experience.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
Excellent keyboarding and data entry skills.
Ability to process large orders with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Experience with distribution, office products, janitorial supplies, industrial supplies, or wholesale operations.
ERP or business software experience.
Experience supporting business-to-business customers.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer calls and emails professionally and promptly.
Enter large customer orders accurately into our business system.
Process order revisions, returns, credits, and customer inquiries.
Verify pricing, product information, and delivery details.
Communicate effectively with customers, sales representatives, purchasing, and warehouse personnel.
Maintain customer records and documentation.
Research and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Create reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Follow company procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
