The Customer Service Manager manages a staff of customer service representatives and the overall management of the day-to-day activities in the department. This includes timely processing of sales orders, customer complaints, required reporting and analysis, effective communication across departmental lines, and establishing departmental and individual goals and objectives. The role involves creating and tracking departmental results of quality and productivity standards and ongoing quality improvement programs, as well as working with managers outside the department to establish similar standards. The manager is responsible for maintaining, designing, and implementing processes and procedures that improve department operations in accordance with SOX and ISO guidelines, and for maintaining sales representative and customer contracts. A key responsibility is tracking, calculating, and reporting to management the financial impact of Incentive, Rebate, Wholesaler, Commissions, etc., on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for both the TracPipe and Industrial Divisions. The role also involves working with Finance to resolve Customer Account issues and performing any other duties assigned by management.
