About The Position

Individuals applying for this position should be willing to make lasting connections with our customers, ring up customer purchases accurately, efficiently, and promptly, and problem-solve customer questions and/or concerns. The role also involves selling Money Orders, Money Grams, and Lottery tickets, assisting the Head Customer Service Manager with timely breaks, and employee start and leave times, and helping maintain a clean and safe store. The ideal candidate will work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department and be part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled.

Requirements

  • Ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
  • Problem solves customer questions and/or concerns
  • Sell Money Orders, Money Grams and Lottery tickets
  • Assist Head Customer Service Manager with timely breaks, and employee start and leave times
  • Help maintain a clean and safe store
  • Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
  • Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled
  • Physical: lifting/carrying to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling to 20 force pounds reaching, standing, turning
  • Equipment operation: scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine
  • Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math

  • Has experience working on a front end
  • Knows about coupons, returns, security procedures and etiquette
