Customer Service Intern (Summer 2026)

About The Position

This position provides hands-on experience in day-to-day supply chain and customer operations across three product lines: e-commerce, professional turf, and contract manufacturing. The intern will support order management, logistics coordination, and customer-facing activities while gaining real-world experience with enterprise systems, transportation processes, and customer dynamics in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Pursuing bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, sales, or related field
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop a foundational understanding of supply chain, customer service, and logistics processes across multiple product lines
  • Enter and manage customer orders and coordinate logistics using SAP, transportation management systems, and e‑commerce/customer service platforms
  • Perform data entry and general systems administration to maintain accurate order, shipment, and customer records
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, statements, and operational documentation to support business activities
  • Communicate with customers to support order status, delivery details, and general inquiries via email and phone
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
