Tisun Beauty is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier / Customer Service Associate to create a positive first and last impression for our customers. In this role, you will provide accurate checkout service while assisting customers with questions, purchases, promotions, and returns. Accuracy matters just as much as speed. You will keep checkout moving efficiently while ensuring customers understand their purchases, payments, and applicable return options. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, sales-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

• Availability for opening and/or closing shifts based on business needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Comfort learning and using POS/register technology.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to remain accurate and professional while working in a busy checkout environment.
• Ability to handle cash, payments, customer information, and transaction records responsibly.
• Good judgment when handling customer requests and situations requiring supervisor approval.
• Ability to work cooperatively with store management and team members.
• Open weekend availability is required for this position.
• Applicants must be available to work weekends as part of their regular schedule.
• Weekend availability means being available for Saturday and Sunday shifts, including opening, mid-day, or closing shifts as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide professional, friendly service.
• Accurately scan, total, and process customer purchases.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other electronic payments according to company procedures.
• Explain current promotions, discounts, and return policies accurately.
• Process authorized returns, exchanges, refunds, and other transactions according to company policy.
• Obtain supervisor approval when a transaction or customer request requires an exception.
• Bag purchases carefully and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.
• Verify item prices and obtain assistance with missing barcodes, price discrepancies, or restricted transactions.
• Protect customer and transaction information and follow company procedures for handling sensitive information.
• Count assigned register funds and complete required reconciliation procedures as authorized.
• Maintain organized receipts and transaction records.
• Follow established procedures for voids, refunds, discounts, and other register adjustments.
• Assist customers with basic store information and connect them with the appropriate team member or department.
• Support other store operations as needed, including maintaining merchandise and assisting customers throughout the sales floor.
• Help create a positive shopping experience that encourages customers to return.
