About The Position

MVSB is seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Banker (Universal Banker) for its branch in Ashland, New Hampshire. The role supports customers with everyday banking needs, builds trusted relationships, creates a welcoming environment, and connects customers with products and services that support their financial goals. The banker works collaboratively with the team and serves the local community. This full-time position includes rotational Saturdays. The employee must be able to switch between teller and customer service duties as branch needs arise and may need to travel independently between branch locations. Starting pay begins at $21.63 per hour and is negotiable based on experience. The role is performed in a branch environment and requires regular standing and movement, visual and manual dexterity to operate office equipment, occasional handling of up to 40 pounds, and some bending and lifting.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in a customer service and/or cash handling role.
Experience using software applications to perform customer service duties.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work rotating Saturdays.
Ability to travel between branch locations as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior knowledge of bank teller transactions.

Responsibilities

Maintain working knowledge of banking products and services and promote them to customers.
Switch between teller and customer service positions as needs arise.
Complete individual and business account deposit and withdrawal transactions.
Perform account opening and maintenance activities for checking, savings, and time deposit accounts.
Provide professional customer service and obtain referrals for new business opportunities through needs-based inquiry.
Respond to customer questions and resolve problems or concerns effectively and efficiently.
