About The Position

The Merrimack is hiring a full-time Customer Service Banker (Universal Banker) at its main branch in downtown Concord, New Hampshire. This customer-focused role supports customers with everyday banking needs, builds trusted relationships, and connects customers with products and services that support their financial goals. The banker works in a collaborative branch environment and may switch between teller and customer service duties as business needs arise. Rotating Saturdays are required, and travel between branch locations may be needed. The position offers starting pay of $21.63 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in customer service and/or a cash-handling role.
Experience using software applications to perform customer service duties.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work rotating Saturdays.
Ability to travel between branch locations as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior bank teller transaction knowledge.

Responsibilities

Maintain working knowledge of banking products and services and promote them to customers.
Switch between teller and customer service positions as needed.
Complete individual and business deposit and withdrawal transactions.
Open and maintain checking, savings, and time-deposit accounts.
Provide professional customer service and identify new business referral opportunities through needs-based inquiry.
Respond to customer questions and resolve problems or concerns effectively and efficiently.
