About The Position

Minit Stop is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join their team. This role is crucial for daily operations, involving both Cashier and Cook duties while ensuring excellent customer service. Cashiers are the primary point of contact for customers, aiming for a positive shopping experience, while Cooks are responsible for preparing and serving delicious menu items and local favorites. Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Obtain a TB Clearance and Safe Food Handler's Certification upon hire.
  • Acquire a Liquor Card within 60 days of hire.
  • Previous cash and food handling experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm for acquiring new skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow Company policies and directions.
  • Understand and abide by Local, State, and Federal laws pertaining to the sale of alcohol and tobacco products and handling of food.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to a height of at least 4 feet with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time throughout the day.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance and punctuality record.
  • Be available for shifts throughout the store operating hours.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a positive and professional manner.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and balance the cash register.
  • Prepare, handle, cook, and serve food safely and according to company standards.
  • Ensure proper food storage and discard procedures are followed.
  • Assist with inventory stocking, organization, and rotation.
  • Perform cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep of store and kitchen areas.
  • Operate and maintain company equipment and report hazards or incidents.
  • Promote company incentives, promotions, and reward programs.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
