About The Position

As a Customer Service & Sales Associate, you will assist Hertz rental car customers at the counter with rental transactions. You will consult with customers about the type of rental they need, including insurance and other ancillary benefits or coverage. The role includes qualifying and processing rentals, selling optional services, processing returns, and conducting vehicle service and maintenance. Compensation is $19.25 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate and uncapped monthly sales incentives. Top sellers have the potential to earn over $100,000 annually. The position includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Requirements

Previous customer service experience and sales skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
Professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Computer literacy.
Proficiency in English.
Valid and active driver's license.
Must be at least 20 years of age and have an acceptable driving record.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
Ability to perform the auditory, speaking, communication, and physical functions necessary for the role, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, driving, pushing, pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, seeing, and reading.
Ability to operate a computer terminal, telephone, calculator, copy machine, and fax machine.
