About The Position

The Customer Service Associate helps provide a positive shopping experience for customers. The role assists customers with questions and recommendations, processes sales at an assigned cash register, protects cash and company assets, stocks and recovers merchandise, receives deliveries, and supports truck unloading and replenishment. The associate also helps maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment through professional interactions and by cleaning and keeping the store presentable. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
Must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Promote a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
