About The Position

Mach 1 Stores is looking to hire an Entry-Level Customer Service Associate to greet customers and efficiently handle our store's operational duties. This role is ideal for someone who is a customer service and cashier expert looking for a positive environment and a flexible schedule. The position involves being the face of the convenience store, providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with purchases, operating the cash register, stocking and fronting merchandise, and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Able to lift periodically
• Cashier / cash handling skills
• Can walk/stand for shift duration
• Able and willing to work weekends and holidays
• Friendly demeanor
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Any cashier or convenience store experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet customers
• Handle store's operational duties
• Assist customers with purchases
• Ensure customers have what they need
• Operate as the go-to cashier
• Keep merchandise stocked and fronted
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the store manager
• Properly clean and maintain all equipment, floors, pumps, lot, and more
