PM Customer Service Desk
About The Position
The Customer Service Desk is the first point of contact for incoming patrons and an important role in the stores. Customer Service Associates help ensure customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and concerns. Honeoye Falls Marketplace and Mendon Meadows is a family-run business that has operated for over 30 years, guided by its motto, “we CARE” (Community, Accountability, Respect, Engagement). Customer Service Desk team members greet customers entering the store, answer and forward incoming calls, and respond to customer questions, comments, and complaints, involving management when necessary. They process and update requests for the company Perx Card loyalty program, sell and cash New York State Lottery transactions in compliance with state and county regulations, and process cash transactions and other forms of payment, discounts, EBT, WIC, coupons, and store discounts. The position requires part-time availability for at least two weekdays and one weekend day. Requirements
- At least two years of friendly and welcoming customer service experience.
- Previous cashiering experience.
- Availability to work at least two weekdays and one weekend day.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations carefully.
- Highly motivated.
- Team player who can also work independently at times.
- Ability to multitask.
- Focused and efficient.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Grocery and/or retail experience preferred.
Responsibilities
