About The Position

The Customer Service Associate models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience and registers sales on an assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role also supports store operations, merchandising, inventory, product compliance, photo services, online order pickup, and store maintenance. The associate complies with company policies and procedures, maintains respectful coworker relationships, completes assigned tasks, and attends training and required learning activities.

Requirements

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve customer issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits with team members.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
Register purchases, handle cash and change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and merchandised, take inventory, maintain records, and check in and price merchandise as directed.
Follow company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with separating and placing food items according to policies and procedures, rotate consumable stock using the first-in, first-out method, and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing and creative machine services, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders in Picture Care Plus and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to keep the store clean, neat, orderly, and presentable.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
