About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a great shopping experience for every customer. The role includes assisting customers with questions and recommendations; operating an assigned cash register and managing sales transactions; safeguarding cash and company assets; stocking and recovering merchandise; receiving merchandise, helping unload trucks, and replenishing stock in accordance with productivity standards; and maintaining a positive, safe, respectful, professional, and friendly environment. The associate is also responsible for store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30–50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.

Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
