About The Position

The Customer Service Associate II assists with the daily operations of an assigned store, including merchandising and customer support. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and is cross-trained to operate the cash register and take on front-end duties as needed. Duties may include receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely according to productivity standards; merchandising and stocking; cleaning and maintaining store areas; helping provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment; processing sales transactions; and securing cash and company assets. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity.
Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely in accordance with productivity standards.
Merchandise and stock as needed.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and in a friendly manner with customers, associates, and leaders.
Manage sales transactions while working at an assigned cash register.
Maintain the security of cash and protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
