About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, managing sales transactions at an assigned register, and maintaining cash security and company assets. The role also supports stocking, merchandise recovery, receiving and unloading merchandise, and replenishing stock in accordance with productivity standards. Associates help maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional, friendly interactions with customers, colleagues, and leaders. The position includes maintaining store cleanliness, such as cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
