About The Position

The Customer Service Associate supports a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, handling sales transactions, maintaining merchandise, and keeping the store safe, clean, and presentable. The role includes working at an assigned cash register, protecting cash and company assets, stocking and recovering merchandise, receiving deliveries, and helping unload trucks. Associates are expected to interact professionally and courteously with customers, coworkers, and leaders and to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift between 30 and 50 pounds from floor level to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working at an assigned cash register.
Maintain the security of cash and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock according to productivity standards.
Help maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
