About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, managing sales transactions at an assigned register, and helping maintain store merchandise and cleanliness. The role includes receiving and unloading merchandise, replenishing stock, and protecting cash and company assets. Associates are expected to maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock according to productivity standards.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
