About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, managing sales transactions, maintaining store security, stocking and recovering merchandise, and helping receive and replenish inventory. The role also involves keeping the store clean and presentable, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and removing trash. Associates are expected to maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and courteously with customers, coworkers, and leaders. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor level to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet physical demands involving frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions at an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and in a friendly manner with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
