About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, processing sales transactions, maintaining cash security and protecting company assets. The role also supports merchandise receiving, stocking, replenishment, and recovery, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store. Associates are expected to interact professionally and respectfully with customers, coworkers, and leaders and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor level to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions at an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Help maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional, friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
