About The Position

This role serves as a vital link between our customers, dealers, logistics operations, and internal teams while supporting operational excellence and revenue growth. As a Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator, you will manage customer orders, coordinate shipments and deliveries of fiberglass swimming pools and pool equipment across the US and Canada, provide exceptional service, and support inside sales opportunities within our existing dealer and customer base. You will act as a primary point of contact, combining strong operational and logistical skills with a customer-first mindset to ensure smooth deliveries, build long-term relationships, and contribute to business success.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of customer service, inside sales, or logistics experience.
  • Proven track record of coordinating deliveries, meeting strict deadlines, and building/growing customer relationships in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) and ERP experience (Microsoft Business Central or SAP preferred).
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Comfortable working outdoors approximately 25 - 50% of the time.
  • Strong organizational and logistical skills with the ability to manage complex delivery schedules, permits, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with a customer-first yet results-driven mindset.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to multi-task effectively while using data to drive results.
  • Proactive, self-motivated attitude with flexibility to accommodate after-hours needs as required.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and quickly adapt to new processes and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and coordinate delivery schedules based on production lead times.
  • Assist with scheduling drivers, organizing pilot cars, obtain oversize load permits, and ensure DOT compliance and proper paperwork for deliveries.
  • Assist with pre-departure checklists (including serial number verification and photos—requires physical effort such as climbing ladders).
  • Assist with maintaining monthly inventory counts.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, dealers, and internal departments (Logistics, Planning, Sales, and Accounts Receivable) and external partners to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
  • Actively support inside sales efforts by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within the existing customer and dealer network.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and dealers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and proactively recommending solutions.
  • Partner with Accounts Receivable to confirm payments prior to order delivery.
  • Manage existing inventory for consignment or stock customers by integrating units into construction schedules.
  • Provide timely and professional support to customers regarding order status, scheduling, and product information.
  • Collaborate closely with the outside sales team to hand off qualified opportunities and close sales.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and Explore Industries’ full product line to effectively consult with clients and grow accounts.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance both the customer experience and overall revenue performance.
