In this role, you will act as a solutions provider for our customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently while supporting the Service Manager and contributing to a high-performing fast-paced service department. Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR and ability to operate company vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment is preferred
  • General mechanical or technical understanding preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline Customer Support by utilizing TNE systems such as Service Center to provide direction or a plan of action to customers.
  • Provide scheduling support for technicians to ensure minimal gaps in workflow.
  • Contact customers when work is completed and arrange timely payment, pick-up, and delivery of customer machines.
  • Manage and maintain accurate customer machine inspection data.
  • Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department, to include answering the phone and supporting the Service Manager when they are out.
  • Support setup logistics of products and assist in the delivery process.
  • Opens and edits work orders as directed by the Service Manager to enable timely invoicing.
  • May maintain the service library with current information as needed.
  • Maintains Service Department filing, mailing, and records.
  • Updates customer profiles or other information from the customer work orders.
  • Maintains a safe store work environment, including performing safety replacement orders for first aid supplies, checking the fire extinguishers & eye wash stations weekly per the Safety Manager.
  • Supports safety compliance, paperwork, quarterly inspections, safety training paperwork, and OSHA logs per the Safety Manager.
  • Schedules and tracks all oil changes, service work, and DOT maintenance for shop vehicles, including delivery and pickup of these vehicles.
  • Ensures warranty parts are cleared out monthly or by following the correct timeline for warranty.
  • Ensure new tools are inscribed, loaded into ToolsGuard, and stored properly in the tool room.
  • Maintains a clean and organized tool room.
  • May deliver parts or work as a driver when necessary.
  • May assist the sales department with inventory tracking and finding serial numbers as needed.
  • Must be able to maintain reliable attendance.
