About The Position

The Customer Service Account Specialist manages customer orders from receipt through delivery, working with customers and teams across transportation, production planning, sales, and accounts receivable. The role provides timely order and shipment updates, supports complete and on-time deliveries, and helps resolve order and delivery issues. It is primarily office-based in Riverside, Missouri, with limited work-from-home opportunities based on business needs and some weekend coverage. When entering production areas, employees must follow applicable safety, food quality, GMP, PPE, HACCP, and SQF requirements.

Requirements

Relevant experience in business-to-business customer service, account management, logistics, or a related field.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Ability to prioritize multiple customer orders and deadlines.
Comfort using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams and learning new systems.
A collaborative approach to solving problems and supporting customers.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Retail Link or a similar customer portal.
Experience with Oracle JD Edwards or a similar ERP system.
Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

Manage customer orders from receipt through delivery.
Keep customers informed about order and shipment status.
Develop daily load plans and schedule and track shipments.
Process EDI and non-EDI orders and verify order accuracy.
Identify order or delivery issues and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
Partner with production planning and transportation teams to support complete, on-time deliveries.
Communicate with transportation carriers about scheduling and shipment status.
Maintain accurate customer and order information in company systems.
Collaborate with Sales and Accounts Receivable.
Learn and use customer-specific systems and portals.
